Oh No Valentines Day!

Oh No Valentines Day
I have several wonderful woman who will actually have a
date on Valentines Day. I’m so happy for them.  They
will have the dinner out, maybe flowers, chocolates,
jewelry and of course the heart filled Valentines Day Card.

I started thinking about Valentines Day past. One of my greatest memories is from grade school.  Every Feb 14th my Dad would give me and and my sisters a Valentines Day card and I think there were flowers or chocolate involved. That was a long time ago, but I do remember that. In fact my parents are the loving wonderful pair that when we were all grown up they would give me and my sisters flowers on Mothers Day. Yes, my sisters were indeed mothers – alas, not me. But I do have the cutest dogs, and that allowed me to be included in the Mothers Day flower giving/receiving.
That’s what got me to think that for this Valentines Day we, all the single gals, should celebrate and share the LOVE.
So I am unofficially starting the Share The Love Valentines traditions.
It’s easy to do. Get out to the card shop and
pick up a dozen Valentines Day cards. In fact.
get to the discount stores and pick up the box
of cards, just like we use to pass out in grade school.
How fun is that?
Address them to your favorite gal pals and guy pals. Drop one or two in the mail to the same people. Spacing them out so they hit a few days before Valentines and then have one arrive on Valentines Day.
Even get some chocolates or those cute little heart shaped candies with all the lovey fun stuff written on them. Drop them on your coworkers, the bus driver, the doorman, your favorite clerk at Whole Foods. Drop them on your friends when you see them, or mysteriously drop them off anonymously to a secret crush.
We don’t have to lament because we aren’t
going to the dinner. or that we don’t
get cards or jewelry. If you send out cards
– you will get cards. That’s my theory.
Share the Love.  Its easy
And for the really special lady friends, or even for yourself, don’t feel left out because you didn’t get any jewelry, you can always go onto www.bellaroman.com and pick out some
of the fabulous red pieces I have added to the collection.

Share the Love.

And, or course – HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to youJ

  1. Bella, a beautiful piece that you wrote, and, your jewelry is beautiful too. With the giving and sharing attitude you have, I know that one day you will find your true love. You have just not found the one person who is deserving of all you have to give yet. Do not give up, that person is out there. You have not just found each other yet.

I would like to give you a Valentine's Day gift. Rather than going to the card store, please visit my website. There, you will be able to design and "snail mail" out a card to someone you want to reach out to, in order to send them a heartfelt message full of love.

This is my Valentine's Day gift to you. Please use it and mail out a greeting card, for free, on me! The webpage is www.sendoutcards.com/b2b

Happy Valentine's Day. It is better to give to give, than to give to get.

    Sincerely, Ira
